I can take quizzes, too.

Sun Feb 12, 2006, 11:27 PM
I'm pretty sure I did this one for my blog, a year or two ago.

01. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.
"... when the weather was right. Satsu came too sometimes, wearing a ..."

02. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can.
Okay.

03. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
the Winter Olympics.. men's downhill skiing, I think.

04. Without looking, guess what time it is?
11:00 pm

05. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time?
11:13 pm

06. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Volcano, by Damien Rice.. but it's coming from the computer. Other than that, only the clacking of my fingers striking the keys.

07. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
Yesterday afternoon. Shopping for canvas ballet shoes, camisoles, and some eyeshadow - colorguard stuff.

08. Before you started this survey, what did you look at?
A certain special blog.

09. What are you wearing?
My wet seal jeans, with the little rhinestones on the back pockets. A light blue camisole, glasses. I was wearing a necklace this morning, but it was annoying.

10. Did you dream last night?
If I did, I don't remember.

11. When did you last laugh?
Actually, I have no idea. I've been headachy all day, so there hasn't been much to laugh about.

12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
A huge Harry Potter movie poster, a framed photograph of the marching band and colorguard, "6 phases of a project" and "Caution: Studying in any form may be hazardous to your health". There used to be a poster of a horse, but it kept falling down.

13. Seen anything weird lately?
I saw a fellow guardie while shopping yesterday, but that wasn't that weird. So, not much.

14. What do you think of this quiz?
I've taken it before.

15. What is the last film you saw?
Crap. I don't remember. The Producers?

16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
A FREAKIN' TABLET. BECAUSE MY DAD KEEPS PROCRASTINATING. Or a Mac of some kind, so I could test on it and use Mac-exclusive programs.

17. Tell me something about you that I don't know:
I took art lessons for a few years when I was younger.. maybe 7 years old, or so.

18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
I would make people, in general, less prone to drama and/or conflict. Life would be so much easier.

19. Do you like to dance?
Depends. Some stuff I like - like leaps (front and side!) - but other stuff.. not so much. So it really depends. And just random crazy social dancing at random school dances? No.

20. George Bush:
.. is the president. He was okay at first, but needs to pull it together now.

21. Imagine your first child is a girl, how do you call her?
Goddon'tmakemethinkaboutchildren. Nice first name, Hawaiian middle name.

22. Imagine your first child is a boy, how do you call him?
Ditto.

23. Would you ever consider living abroad?
That depends. Japan = acceptable. Iran = not so much.

24. What do you want God to say to you when you reach the pearly gates?
According to some crazy evangelists, I'm going to be going to hell anyhow. But, if I make it up there - "So, there is a god. And I say that without capitalization.' (wild laughter)

25. 4 people who must also do this in their journal:
Dearest ~kmhikari already did this.. So, I don't know. Just do it, whoever you are.

Still got it.

Not dead.

Not quite yet.

Same ol' status quo, around here. I'm still busy, I'm still fairly museless, and I'm still pretty lazy. I did end up making a few blog layouts, so I'll probably take shots of those and submit them.

Thank you for sticking around. I do look at everything that comes into my message center, even though I don't usually comment. Sorry for lack of submissions/communication in general. <3

Busy.

Places to go, people to see?

Eh. Not really.

There's marching band/colorguard stuff that takes up time, and then I have to wait around until someone can come and pick me up. And then homework, tae kwon do -- anything that DOES NOT involve writing or art or anything remotely pretty or creative. I'm trying. But I'm sorry. I do, however, read all the journals and look at every deviation that comes into my message center. As usual, I don't comment much, but most things I see are wonderful, if not completely amazing. <3

Sorry for not responding to comments/favorites. But thank you, everyone. I appreciate it a lot, especially now that I can't make anything nice at the moment.

This is how it's going to be for a while. I try to squeeze things in on weekends, but it's hard to rush things.

Anyway. Thank you for not completely deserting me.

I try.

I know I haven't submitted very much, lately.

.. And I know that I probably won't be submitting much for quite a while. I wish I could, honestly, but it's hard.

Let's see. I started high school last week, yes, but that isn't really such a problem. Sure, I'm doing the all-honors thing, but the work isn't that difficult. It's the afterschool stuff that's an issue. I tried out for colorguard in the spring, made it, and I'm doing that, at the moment. Practices run from 6th period until between 4 pm and 5 pm, depending on what day it is, usually around 4-ish. I, however, cannot get picked up until after 5, and it takes 45 or so minutes walking home on this hellish road with dead animals strewn in various places. Not such a great thing. And then there are football games. For this month and maybe a bit after, there's one every week. My bedroom does not see me until 11 pm.

Basically, I'm at school all the time - from early in the morning (7:30 am) until fairly late in the afternoon (4/5) and/or pretty late at night (11).

Every creative cell that was unfortunate enough to take up residence in my brain has kind of.. gone into hibernation. And those that are alive are a tad preoccupied. So, yes. I doubt that photomanips will be coming quite so quickly, and photos probably won't be happening at all, unless I dig up old things and post them. I don't do much else beside that. Yes. Much love.

Happy Birthday to me

Thu Aug 18, 2005, 10:05 PM
That's right. Today's my birthday. I'm fourteen now, if you were curious.

Not much more to say, really. I'm lazy, it's getting late, I want to sleep. But I can say that I have not blown out any candles today, and that I did get cake squished onto my face. And that I ate at a place that really sucked, which depresses me. But oh well.
